My! I’ve heard many stories about the strangeness of the desert, but never have I heard one about… Walking plants, and a great sea!
This is not even part of the desert’s strange habits, Kum Kaeshira, Kesh could tell you many stories of such things! There are great snake-dragons which live under the dunes and rear forth to swallow entire caravans, and trees which stand alone surrounded by dead animals, for they use their sharp branches to stab them—these are butcher-trees, and they are as alive as you or I! And there are great stones which open to consume entire camels and horses, and caves lined with gold and haunted by restless ghosts! The desert is a very, very wonderful place, but it is also quite dangerous.
And now you’re here in Skyrim. Dreadfully boring, I would think, compared to those deserts…
